The Kinnarps range comprises three different types of wood,
namely birch, beech and oak. Birch, both as solid wood and veneer,
is obtained from Finland. Beech veneers come from central Europe
and solid beech from Swedish beech forests. Solid oak and oak
veneers come from Sweden and North America. All these raw materials
come from areas in which sustainable forestry is practiced in
accordance with the requirements and standards of the country of
origin. FSC-certified wood is used as far as supplies permit.
No wood at all is procured from rain forest
